Trains operate between Inverness and Kyle of Lochalsh where a bus can be caught to take you on to Skye. Check the national rail website for up to the minute train times and notices.

By Bus Skye and Lochalsh can be reached by coach from Inverness, Glasgow and Fort William, which have good links to other parts of the UK. Local buses are also operated within the area and there is a bus stop close to The Glenview.

The Road to the Isles from Fort William takes you to Mallaig where you can then sail over the sea to Armadale on Skye with Caledonian MacBrayne ferries. During the Summer months, a privately run ferry operates between Glenelg and Kylerhea on Skye.
