This is the best place in the whole of Skye, no, the best in the whole of Scotland, no, the best in the whole of the UK. We were so well looked after, fabulous food, beautiful comfortable guest lounge, all facilities and bed of excellent quality - should be 4-5 star. We hope one day to return. Best wishes to all especially the hosts Simon and Kirsty.

Sólo pasamos una noche y pero volveremos. Hotel con mucho encanto enclavado en lugar idílico, limpio y el restaurante sensacional. Pero lo mejor ha sido el trato agradable y cariñoso que nos han dispensado. Muchas gracias y mucha suerte.

We spent the week touring the West Coast and I have to say that the stay at The Glenview made our holiday. From the fantastic welcome to the amazing food it was just a great place to relax and let the world go by. Kirsty and Simon were very helpfull and made us both feel at home. I would have no hesitations recomending The Glenview as it is a jewel on the West Coast with its lovely rooms and delicious food.

Amazing! Room gorgeous & very comfy, loved having a bathroom with a view. Food spectacular, really outstanding. We were looked after with such warmth & friendliness - our 18 month old son had a ball and as a family we felt so welcome. It was such a treat to be able to stay & eat so well in such beautiful surroundings. Thank you so much to Simon, Kirsty, Mary & the rest of the team.

Thank you Simon and Kirsty for looking after us for what was a thoroughly refreshing and relaxing few days. Your hospitality was fantastic and the food was consistently the best we have ever enjoyed anywhere in the UK. To sit having such amazing meals overlooking the Storr was just incredible and is a memory we will treasure. We hope to return sometime soon.

We spent the last 6 days of June at Glenview. The restaurant/hotel is warm, cosy and very quiet, situated in beautiful scenery.Kirsty,Simonand staff always have a smile and will do anything to meet your needs. The six meals we sampled were a culinary delight, every food item is fresh locally grown whenever possible and very well presented. The breakfast selection is also a pleasure,We can recommended the porridge which will set you up for the day ahead. In short, staying at Glenview will not disappoint and we strongly recommend it!

Amazing! Kirsty and Simon are so welcoming and the rooms are gorgeous (they've updated them since the photo's were put on the website). As for the food - out of this world! It's easy to see why the restaurant has won so many awards in it's first year alone. I would highly recommend a stay here. We will certainly be coming back for more!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Glenview. The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms were excellent. Kirsty and Simon are great hosts, even putting our wet coats and overtrousers in the tumbledryer for us. The food is the highlight of this 'Restaurant with Rooms'. The menu changes every day and sticks to 2 choices for each course so everything is freshly prepared. There was a fish choice on the mains each night which we greatly enjoyed. The wine list was well chosen too - the house white was first class! Breakfast so often lets a hotel down but there are no greasy fry-ups here. Venison sausage one day, skye pork sausage the next, with good bacon and free range eggs. Skye kippers are always available, as is porridge. I would thoroughly recommend the Gelnview. we shall certainly be back!

Had a fabulous stay at The Glenview Hotel. Good hotel with family atmosphere. The hotel was well placed, nice room and rooms cleaned daily, staff very friendly and helpful. They showed an interest in all guests and answered lots of questions and suggested places to visit, very helpful staff. Good food and very kind operating staff. Kirsty and Simon are the perfect hosts. What better place to stay in Skye. We stayed six nights and the hotel quickly became our home from home… For us it was a perfect stay! W & S from Kent

We had the most marvellous time at the Glenview, what a delight Kirsty and Simon are, attentive to every detail and comfort. The food was sublime, every morsel and ingredient carefully combined resulting in the most delicious menus. Every mouthful was a marriage of wonderful flavours! Well done, chef! The hospitality we received was second to none, from the warmth of our welcome right throughout our stay. May you go from strength to strength, and we both look forward to a return visit!

Had a fabulous stay at The Glenview. Kirsty and Simon are the perfect hosts and the food is superb. What better place to stay in Skye than a restaurant providing local, seasonal, delicious food. Glenview Hotel is a Diamond find, superb location for trips around the island, walks on the doorstep and a photographers dream starting point. Kirsty and Simon are amazing, always smiling with nothing too much trouble. Simon is an amazingly talented chef, and the food we had was all local and cooked to perfection, As good as any of the top London Hotels and restaurants(If not better ;o) ) We look forward to visiting again very soon

We are so impressed with this small, comfortable, welcoming hotel. Simon and Kirsty never impose, but they are caring, warm, passionate about food and hospitality, while remaining totally professional. Even the breakfast menu changes daily so that the best local ingredients are sourced. We had delicious, inventive food and were made to feel totally relaxed. It's beautiful too!

The Glenview Hotel we think provides a perfect base to explore the Isle of Skye. We stayed one night but already have plans to return to go walking up the Quiraing and the many other walks available around the hotel. Recommendations have already been made to our friends and family. Thank you very much to Kirsty and Simon for providing the perfect friendly welcome and guide to two weary campers. Service, rooms, food and hospitality were very good value for money and of a high standard.

Glenview is the hidden treasure of Skye. By the warm hospitality this place is upgraded from a very nice hotel to a home away from home. The kitchen is a centre of inspiration and superb craftmenship and the food becomes divine. Everything is prepared from scratch and fresh and local produce
If you enjoy life Glenview is a must

What can I say about this beautiful little Hotel, the atmosphere the location, bedrooms, 1st class food and above all the owners! Always concerned about your wellbeing and forever at hand for little comforts such as two glasses of Brandy and starting the fire in the afternoon after a wet day on the Cullins!

Well my feedback is a little late as I stayed with my best friend at Glenview around 20 May. I can only agree with the extremely positive comments that are already recorded. We too found this wonderful hotel by accident and will most definitely return. Kirsty is positively charming at all times - nothing is too much trouble and Simon's cooking cannot be faulted. Very comfortable clean and fresh rooms. I think your reputation will go before you and that we will not be fortunate enough to turn up on your door step and find a charming room available. Pre booking will be a must. Thank you for a fab stay and for being such cheerful and charming hosts.

What a find! This is surely a business that will go from strength to strength. Kirsty and Simon have only been at the Glenview for a few months and their ‘touches’ are noticeable. The food is excellent and tastes all the better for knowing that the ingredients are sourced locally. Simon prepares a menu that is changed daily depending on what is available locally. We ate wild garlic soup (zero food miles), and saw freshly caught oysters being delivered, ready for the menu that night. Kirsty is an excellent hostess and nothing is too much trouble and after 4 nights stay we came away totally relaxed. We have a feeling that next time we visit Skye we will have to book our accommodation well in advance!
