Our aim at Glenview is to source high quality produce, paying particular attention to sustainability and organic husbandry. Using local suppliers is of utmost importance to us, not only to minimise the environmental impact of the transportation of the food but also because we believe Scottish produce is among the best in the world and are privileged to have such an abundant larder on our doorstep.
We were particularly pleased, in our first year of operation, to be voted best Hotel & Restaurant in Skye and Lochalsh by the local food producers in the Skye and Lochalsh district. This accolade is awarded to businesses showing an outstanding commitment to the use and promotion of local produce.
Our committment to good food was also rewarded with the award of an AA rosette.
Dinner
Dinner is served between 7.00 to 8.30pm. Our nightly three course seasonal menu is changed daily. There is always a choice at each course and we are more than happy to accommodate special dietary requirements with prior notice. We are a small restaurant so we always recommend booking in advance.

At Glenview we understand the importance of getting a good start to your day so we ensure the breakfast table has all you need to get you on your way.
We offer fruit juices and a range of teas and fair trade coffee.

- Seasonal fruits, natural yoghurt and Scottish honey
- Toasted home made bread and home made spreads
- Organic porridge
As well as our continental selection we always offer a savoury & sweet cooked option which changes daily such as:
- Organic Skye bacon, local free range eggs, vine tomatoes and Stornoway black pudding
- French toast home made brioche with seasonal fruit compote & local creme fraiche
As standard there are always locally smoked kippers from the south of the island on offer each morning.
Children
We can provide a children’s tea or alternatively your children may accompany you in the restaurant before 8 pm and eat smaller portions from the menu, priced accordingly.
